Event Description:
Join area manufacturing employees and learn about a wide range of safety and health related topics in a single daylong conference. Sessions are fast-paced and provide the most relevant, up-to-date information based on today's OSHA standards and regulations. Several workshops will give participants practical experience in applying standards and concepts.

Joe Frederickson is the keynote speaker for the conference. In 2012, he was involved in a combustible dust explosion, which cased a ripple effect that changed his entire life.

Breakout sessions are divided into four content areas. There will be a daylong arc flash/electrical session focused on the new 2018 NFPA 70E code review. Administrative/Management sessions include OSHA Update, Workers Compensation 101, Active Learning and Current Trends in Drugs. Topics featured in Work Practices and Safety for the Worker sessions include Respiratory Protection, Lockout Elements and Beast Practices, Musculoskeletal Injury management, Motor Carrier Enforcement Topics, HazCom Program Requirements and much more.
