Event Description:
Whether for travel, business, or personal enrichment, learning a foreign language starts with the basics. UW-Eau Claire – Barron County is offering two beginning language courses appropriate for those with no previous foreign language experience, and those who would like to refresh or expand their skills. Both courses will include basic vocabulary and expressions used in everyday situations. The foundational grammar lessons cover how to ask and respond to simple questions, engage in simple conversations, interact in everyday situations, read a variety of basic written materials, and write simple sentences.

Instructor Alfredo Aranda Silva is originally from Spain and spent 10 years in Paris, France where he studied French Language and Civilization and taught at Paris-Sud University.
